The Silver Age bed and breakfast Hotel is owned by the ‘Petersburg Hotels’ company.  We believe that it is important to be able to recommend a hotel to our friends and clients.  As we found that many of the bed & breakfast mini-hotels in St Petersburg did not deliver what our guests wanted, we decided to open our own B&B hotels in the city centre, which we would be proud to recommend to anyone.  We wanted our visitors to experience the atmosphere of the northern capital, whilst savouring Russian culture and heritage during the ‘silver age’. 
    At the Silver Age B & B Hotel our guests experience the unique ambience of the ‘Silver Age’ of Russian culture, that period of the blossoming of literature, poetry and painting. Consequently, we ensured that the Silver Age bed & breakfast hotel combines the elegance and opulence of the turn of 20th century St Petersburg with the comfort and quality of today.  This we achieved by gathering a vast amount of information on pre-revolutionary St Petersburg, to enable us to study the interior of a typical hotel of the period and the way of life at the time.  
    Our desire to recreate precisely the ‘silver age’ period of old St Petersburg, whilst not forgetting the need for modern comforts – air conditioning, internet access, warm rooms, free telephone calls, a comfortable bed and a tasty breakfast – became a reality.  
    By opting to create a small Bed & Breakfast hotel, we are able to keep our prices lower than other larger, ‘chain’ hotels in the centre of the city whilst offering the widest range of services.  Other bed & breakfast hotels have many good points, but, after comparing them with the Silver Age B & B Hotel, you will realise that, when you take into account the high standard of the accommodation, the quality of the service and the value-for money price, we are unequalled.  This is because, for us, vision comes before profit.
